Spring Break Camp

Spring into an awesome break! Your camper will be active, and creative, and create memories while on their break. Each day will have crafts and activities based on that day’s theme. Campers must bring their lunch and drink. Campers must also wear comfortable clothes and gym shoes that they can be active in. Our camp is led by our experienced BASC and Camp staff. Camp sunrise is available from 6:15 am - 8 am as well as camp sunset from 3 pm - 6:15 pm see the information listed below.

Passes are available for all serviced schools. Please email s.carrasquillo@hpparks.org to inquire about pass availability. We ask that you provide us with at least 24-hour notice if a daily pass is needed.
How to Register:
Registration must be completed at the Park District office or by phone-in. A parent handbook will be given out prior to the program start date. Included in the handbook is an Emergency Release Form. This form must be completed and turned in on the first day of BASC.
How to Pay:
Tuition is based on the total number of days school is actually in session per year. Fees are divided into 9 equal payments for the school year and will not be lower for those months that have fewer attendance days due to holidays (i.e. winter and spring break)
A $15 non-district fee will be charged at the time of registration when applicable.

Sports & Splash Camp | 3rd - 6th Grade

Our campers will be able to explore a new sport each week as they take part in exciting athletic activities with special guest instructors! They'll also cool off at Seafari Spring Aquatic Center, and get ready for the ultimate day of fun when we go on an awesome sports-themed field trip once a week.
New Payment Plan
We are happy to offer our parents the option of a Payment Plan to secure a spot in our Summer Day Camp. Parents will only have to pay a $25 security deposit for each week they wish their child to attend, and pay the remaining balance by the due date listed on the agreement.

Camp Sunrise and Sunset takes place at the Ahlstrand Fieldhouse.
If your child is enrolled in Camp Sunrise, they will be walked over with staff to their campsite once Camp Sunrise is done at 8 am. If your child is enrolled into Camp Sunset they will be walked over at the end of their camp day to Ahlstrand Fieldhouse if needed. In the case of severe weather campers will be shuttled to Ahlstrand Fieldhouse.

Parents may stay on the first day of class to help ease their child into separation. This is not a parent/tot program and parents will be asked to stop attending after the first class.
Pull-ups are acceptable, but our teachers are not able to change any child. Children should be in the process of learning how to be toilet-independent while attending this program. Parents must be available to return to the program to change their child’s pull-up or in case of a bathroom accident.

Make the smart choice to get your little one ready for kindergarten! Our curriculum is based on the Illinois Early Learning Standards. Students will learn about colors, size, shapes, numbers, reading readiness as well as how to follow directions and time. All while developing social-emotional and listening skills. Teachers will explore the alphabet, addresses, phone numbers, and how to write their names. Classes are designed to prepare children who enter kindergarten in the fall of 2025. A graduation celebration will be held at the end of the school year. Parents are encouraged to help 1-2 times a month in the preschool programs. Information may change due to CDC guidelines. Graduation for all Pre-K classes will take place on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025.

Baseball Skills 101 | Age 7+

This baseball class gives players an introduction to baseball. Players work on technique and enhancing form in this comprehensive skills clinic. This program teaches throwing mechanics as well as batting stance, bat positioning, and speed, using both live pitching and hitting off the tee. Players learn various positions in the field through gameplay and basic in-game strategy. Players should bring their own gloves, and be ready for a fun, fast-paced learning environment.

Youth Inter-Village
Spring Soccer Leagues
U8-U14 | Register Online
The Inter Village League offers a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels. Teams are available for U7 (kindergarten), U8 (1st/2nd grade), U10 (3rd/4th grade), U12 (5th/6th grade), and U14 (7th/8th grade). These teams compete against others from different park districts. Practice days and times are determined by volunteer coaches, while games are scheduled on Saturdays. Registration is based on the player's grade for the 2023/2024 school year. Shin guards and soccer cleats are mandatory. This 10-week program utilizes the fall jerseys from the previous season. If your child didn't participate in the fall season, you'll need to purchase a jersey. For those who played in the fall season but need a different size, a new jersey must be purchased. Every child will receive black socks, and on game day, please have your child wear black shorts. The fee is $125 if you are a returning player who has a jersey from the last season to use. The fee is $140 if you are new and need a jersey.

Soccer Skills Clinic 101

The Hanover Park Park District gymnastics program is operated by the Gymkhana Gymnastics Club. Gymkhana has been providing high-quality instruction in gymnastics since 1975. They offer programs for all ages and abilities starting from preschool gymnastics classes, to their nationally competing U.S.A. Gymnastics Men’s and Women’s teams. Gymkhana’s professional staff is comprised of U.S.A. Gymnastics safety certified coaches. The Gymkhana facility is 25,300 square feet of the latest and best equipment.

Court Reservations & Cancellations
Members may reserve court time up to seven days in advance. Cancellation of court time must be made at least 24 hours in advance of play. Members are responsible for court fees if for any reason they wish to cancel in less than 24 hours and the court cannot be sold. Members who make reservations and fail to show up are responsible for the cost of the court and are charged accordingly.

The Park District and the CCAC are handicapped accessible and comply with A.D.A. standards. The elevator is accessible from all 3 levels and is available for public use.

Club members will enjoy the clean and spacious men’s & women’s locker rooms, each with its own whirlpool and sauna.
Lounge and Snack Bar
The central core of the club includes a lounge area complete with a big screen TV where members and guests may relax after a hard workout.
Monthly Play Pass
If playing a lot of tennis is high on your priority list you can’t go wrong by purchasing a Play Pass. Reservations may be made up to 48 hours in advance, initially for one-and-a-half hours of tennis. If the court is available at the end of that time, just keep playing until you drop!
Non-play pass holders must pay their portion of the court time fees. A valid CCAC membership is required to purchase a play pass.
