How to Pay:
Tuition is based on the total number of days school is actually in session per year. Fees are divided into 9 equal payments for the school year and will not be lower for those months that have fewer attendance days due to holidays (i.e. winter and spring break)
A $15 non-district fee will be charged at the time of registration when applicable.

With days available that can be used at any time throughout the school year, this program provides an unbeatable solution. Looking for a fun and engaging place for your child while school is out? Our School Break Camps offer exciting days filled with games, arts and crafts, STEM activities, sports, special events, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends.
Led by our experienced and caring staff, campers will enjoy a safe, active, and enriching environment where they can learn, play, and explore throughout their break.
With flexible registration options and an affordable daily rate, you can choose the days that best fit your family's schedule. Camp is just $67 per day.

Preschool Mission Statement
Hanover Park Park District is dedicated to preparing little sprouts for kindergarten with care and creativity! We offer a secure and nurturing environment where young learners can grow and thrive. Our programs focus on essential skills like motor development, independence-building, and listening comprehension. Kids will have a blast as they explore numbers and letters, while engaging in self-expression activities that nurture their confidence. This program provides a gentle introduction to preschool in a warm and supportive environment. Children will build social skills and learn through play, music, stories, arts and crafts, and other engaging activities. It's the perfect stepping stone to our Little Learners program.
Parents may stay on the first day to help their child adjust. Pull-ups are permitted; however, staff cannot change children. Participants should be working toward toilet independence, and parents must be available to return if a pull-up change or bathroom accident occurs.

Preschool Break Camp Adventures!
Looking for fun and engaging care during school breaks? The Hanover Park Park District is excited to offer Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break programs for preschool-aged children!
Our programs run from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM and are packed with age-appropriate activities designed to keep little learners active, creative, and having fun. Each break session will feature crafts, games, STEM activities, themed projects, outdoor play (weather permitting), and special experiences tailored to the season.

Fall Youth Soccer Leagues
The mission of the Youth Soccer League is to develop confident, disciplined, and respectful athletes. Our recreational league provides a supportive environment to foster teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship in a safe and inclusive space.
The season will include a participation medal and free space for an end-of-season party. All players will receive equal training and game time, whether they are beginners or seasoned players. Teams will use the App called TeamSnap for game and practice schedules.
The season will consist of at least one (1) practice per week, and one (1) game per week. These games will typically be on Saturdays; your practice time and day will be chosen by your coach after the registration deadline.
Teams will compete against nearby park districts. The season will consist of a 7-game regular season. Players should register based on their grade level for Fall 2026; Shin guards are required. Soccer cleats are recommended. Players have the option of purchasing a jersey if they do not already have one from prior seasons. The price of a jersey is an additional $10. Jerseys must be purchased at the registration desk, and parents will be responsible for picking them up.
The practice location will be at Community Center Park and Ahlstrand Park.
All teams are coached by volunteer parent coaches. If interested in coaching, please contact Sofia Castaneda at s.castaneda@hpparks.org. Volunteer coaches may be eligible for household program discounts. Training videos for skills and drills are provided to volunteer coaches through the TeamSnap app.

The Basketball Skills Development program for ages 10 and above is designed to help participants build a solid foundation in the sport. Our experienced instructors focus on teaching fundamental basketball skills, including shooting, dribbling, and passing, while also introducing the basic rules of the game. The instructional sessions are primarily game and drill-oriented, ensuring an engaging and dynamic learning experience. Each week, participants have the opportunity to apply their newly acquired skills in mini-games and scrimmages, fostering teamwork and game awareness.

Winter Inter-Village Basketball Leagues
Hanover Park Park District Winter Basketball Inter-Village League is now open for registration. Our district will compete against other park districts, such as teams from Roselle, Carol Stream, Hoffman, Bloomingdale, and many more park districts. Teams will be put into divisions and play against other park districts throughout the season in this fun and recreational basketball league. Come join Hanover Park and compete for your town against our neighbors!
Players will receive instructions from volunteer coaches in dribbling, passing, and shooting, as well as learning the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. The volunteer coach determines practice times. Leagues will compete on Saturdays at the other park district's gym. Each player will receive a jersey and shorts.

The Hanover Park Park District gymnastics program is operated by the Gymkhana Gymnastics Club. Gymkhana has been providing high-quality instruction in gymnastics since 1975. They offer programs for all ages and abilities starting from preschool gymnastics classes, to their nationally competing U.S.A.
Gymnastics Men’s and Women’s teams. Gymkhana’s professional staff is comprised of U.S.A. Gymnastics safety certified coaches. The Gymkhana facility is 25,300 square feet of the latest and best equipment.
