With days available that can be used at any time throughout the school year, this program provides an unbeatable solution. A lunch and water bottle are required though, so make sure you pack one before joining the festivities. And don't forget: Camp Sunrise starts at 6:15 a.m.!

How to Register:
Registration must be completed at the Park District office or by phone-in. A parent handbook will be given out before the program start date. Included in the handbook is an Emergency Release Form. This form must be completed and turned in on the first day of BASC.
How to Pay:
Tuition is based on the total number of days school is actually in session per year. Fees are divided into 9 equal payments for the school year and will not be lower for those months that have fewer attendance days due to holidays (i.e. winter and spring break)
A $15 non-district fee will be charged at the time of registration when applicable.

Preschool Mission Statement:
Hanover Park Park District is dedicated to preparing little sprouts for Kindergarten with care and creativity! We offer a secure and nurturing environment where young learners can grow and thrive. Our programs focus on essential skills like motor development, independence-building, and listening comprehension. Kids will have a blast as they explore numbers and letters while engaging in self-expression activities that nurture their confidence. This program is crafted to give your little sprout a gentle introduction to the preschool world. Our devoted and nurturing staff will help ease your child’s transition from home, providing a warm and supportive environment. The class highlights socialization and learning through playful activities. Your toddler will explore music, storytime, arts and crafts, and much more, all designed to spark their curiosity and joy. Totally 2s & 3s Information:
Parents may stay on the first day of class to help ease their child into separation. This is not a parent/tot program and parents will be asked to stop attending after the first class.
Pull-ups are acceptable, but our teachers are not able to change any child. Children should be in the process of learning how to be toilet-independent while attending this program. Parents must be available to return to the program to change their child’s pull-up or in case of a bathroom accident.
Pre-kindergarten
Get your little sprout ready for kindergarten with our heartwarming program! Our curriculum introduces young learners to colors, sizes, shapes, numbers, and reading readiness. They’ll also pick up valuable skills like following directions and understanding time, all while blossoming socially and emotionally. Our caring teachers will guide your child through the alphabet, addresses, phone numbers, and even writing their names. This nurturing program is designed for those who will start kindergarten in the fall of 2025, and we’ll celebrate their growth with a special graduation on May 22nd, 2025. Parents are invited to join in the fun by helping out 1-2 times a month. Please note that if enrollment is low, we may need to combine Pre-K classes. Keep an eye out for any changes due to CDC guidelines.

Please bring 32 bars of a contemporary musical theater song and 1 minute of a monologue. We ask that you bring an instrumental version of your track to play over our Bluetooth speaker. The track must be instrumental only.

For children and adults, beginners and experienced drummers! During private half-hour lessons on a professional drum set, you'll learn Jazz, Rock, Blues, Funk, and Latin Funk drum techniques. Instructor Verne Duddles creates a comfortable, safe, and inspiring atmosphere to maximize each student's progress. Safety guidelines will be followed throughout the lesson, such as wearing masks, maintaining a 6-ft distance, and sanitizing equipment through each use.
Please bring a set of drumsticks to class (price is $6-$12), available at any music store. Recommended drumsticks: Size 7A for children and 5A for adults.

Guidelines to Follow:
1. Participants should wear face coverings over their nose and mouth. (exceptions can be made for people with medical conditions or disabilities that prevent them from safely wearing a face covering).
2. Lessons will allow for 6-ft. of social distancing between participants and instructor.
3. Please wash your hands before and after the program.
4. Before allowing entrance or before class, staff will ask whether participants are currently exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. If a participant does have symptoms, they should not enter the premises. Please contact us for a refund due to illness.
5. Equipment will not be shared between participants unless from the same household.
6. Classes do not add new participants once the session has started.
7. Parents and guardians are not allowed to enter the board room, this way we can maintain social distancing.
8. Under no circumstance will the instructor allow contact between participants.
Winter Inter-Village
Basketball Leagues
Hanover Park Park District has joined a Winter Basketball Inter-Village League with other park districts such as teams from Roselle, Carol Stream, Hoffman, Bloomingdale, and many more park districts. Teams will be put into divisions and play against other park districts throughout the season in this fun and recreational basketball league. Come join Hanover Park and compete for your town against our neighbors!
Players will receive instructions from volunteer coaches in dribbling, passing, and shooting, as well as learning the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. The volunteer coach determines practice times. Leagues will compete on Saturdays at the other park district's gym. Each player will receive a jersey and shorts.
Players should arrive 15 minutes before for check-in.

Our athletic leagues are highly reliant on volunteer coaches. All necessary equipment and training resources are provided, ensuring that our volunteer coaches are prepared to coach, and have a fun and rewarding experience.
To show our appreciation for your commitment, all volunteer coaches receive a sweater or polo, a team picture plaque, and FREE registration

Please note: All Saturday games will be away and not at home this season. Each coach will create a band app to communicate with the player’s parents. This season we will be doing a popcorn Fundraiser, to help purchase new equipment, and trophies also help pay for the kid’s basketball ceremony at the end of the season. Fall Inter-Village Soccer Leagues
The Inter Village league will provide an environment for players of all levels. Teams are offered at the following levels: U8 (1st/2nd grade), U10 (3rd/4th grade), U12 (5th/6th grade) and U14 (7th/8th grade). Teams will compete against teams from other areas of park districts. Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach. The games are on Saturdays. Players should register based on their grades for the 2023/2024 school year. Each player receives a team jersey, shorts, and socks. Shin guards are required. Soccer cleats are recommended.

Volunteer Basketball Coaches
Our athletic leagues are highly reliant on volunteer coaches. All necessary equipment and training resources are provided, ensuring that our volunteer coaches are prepared to coach, and have a fun and rewarding experience.
To show our appreciation for your commitment, all volunteer coaches receive a sweater or polo, a team picture plaque, and FREE registration
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a volunteer coach, please contact Athletic Supervisor Laura Reilly, at L.Reilly@hpparks.org or call at 630-837-2468 ext 115. We will have a coach's meeting 2 weeks before the 1st practice at the Hanover Park Park district.
Misc Comments:
Please note: All Saturday games will be away and not at home this season. Each coach will create a band app to communicate with the player’s parents. This season we will be doing a popcorn Fundraiser, to help purchase new equipment, and trophies also help pay for the kid’s basketball ceremony at the end of the season. All profits go back to the players.
Uniform: If you are a returning player from last year and have a black and white Jersey, the registration price is $125.00. For a new player that needs to purchase a Jersey, the registration price is $140.00
Centre Court Athletic Club
Centre Court Athletic Club equips suburban citizens with everything they need to get fit and have fun. In addition to a traditional cardio center and weight room, the club also comes equipped with more than a dozen indoor Tennis and Pickleball courts, which host matches no matter the weather.

Racquetball Courts
The two racquetball courts offer hardwood floors and complete climate control for year-round playing comfort.
Tennis Courts
Our 10 indoor tennis courts feature the “Chevron Laykold¨ surface which offers a true bounce and minimum leg fatigue to players of every ability. Four of the indoor courts are air-conditioned for your summertime comfort.

Court Reservations & Cancellations
Members may reserve court time up to seven days in advance. Cancellation of court time must be made at least 24 hours in advance of play. Members are responsible for court fees if for any reason they wish to cancel in less than 24 hours and the court cannot be sold. Members who make reservations and fail to show up are responsible for the cost of the court and are charged accordingly.

Handicap Accessibility
The Park District and the CCAC are handicapped accessible and comply with A.D.A. standards. The elevator is accessible from all 3 levels and is available for public use.
Locker Rooms, Whirlpools & Saunas
Club members will enjoy the clean and spacious men’s & women’s locker rooms, each with its own whirlpool and sauna.
Lounge and Snack Bar
The central core of the club includes a lounge area complete with a big screen TV where members and guests may relax after a hard workout.
Monthly Play Pass
If playing a lot of tennis is high on your priority list you can’t go wrong by purchasing a Play Pass. Reservations may be made up to 48 hours in advance, initially for one-and-a-half hours of tennis. If the court is available at the end of that time, just keep playing until you drop!
Non-play pass holders must pay their portion of the court time fees. A valid CCAC membership is required to purchase a play pass.
