All Summer Camp Programs Full
All Day Camps will take place from 8 am - 3 pm, parents have the option to enroll their child into the 3-day program or to sign their child up for a week of fun. Children must be entering the grades listed in Fall 2022. Listed below are the individual camps.

Tiny Tot Camp | Ages 2 - 4
Our tiny campers will spend their day making new friends while being in a safe and nurturing environment. Our campers will get to experience music, storytime, arts and crafts, and these are just a few of the exciting experiences your toddler will enjoy.

Discovery Camp | Pre-K - 1st Grade
Our young campers will spend their days with new friends while discovering all that camp has to offer! Campers will swim at Seafari Spring Aquatic Center 3 days a week and take a field trip once a week. On top of all that campers will also participate in crafts and games related to their weekly theme. There will also be plenty of time for free play, outdoor time, and STEM activities.
Adventure Camp | 2nd - 5th Grade
Your child will have an adventure this summer, playing games, making crafts, making friends, participating in theme days and so much more! Adventure Campers will go on a weekly field trip once a week and get to splash around in the pool 3 days a week at Seafari Aquatic Center.

Teen Camp | 6th - 9th Grade
Your teen will make the most of their summer at Teen Camp! Spend the summer hanging out with friends while participating in games, arts and crafts, team building activities, service projects, and more. Teen Campers will swim 3 days a week at Seafari Springs Aquatic Center. Campers will also go on a field trip or community visit twice a week.

Sports & Splash Camp | 3rd - 6th Grade
Campers will spend the morning participating in athletic activities. Trying their hand at a variety of sports, with each week featuring a guest instructor. Afternoons will be spent beating the heat by swimming at Seafari Spring Aquatic Center 3 days a week. Once a week our campers will go on a sports-themed field trip.

New Payment Plan
We are happy to offer our parents the option of a Payment Plan to secure a spot in our Summer Day Camp. Parents will only have to pay a $25 security deposit for each week they wish their child to attend, and pay the remaining balance by the due date listed on the agreement.

All camps have the option of the 3-day pass or the 5-day pass.
Camp Sunrise and Sunset takes place at the Ahlstrand Fieldhouse.
If your child is enrolled in Sports and Splash Camp, they will walk with staff to the community Center after Camp Sunrise. If your Sports & Splash camper is enrolled in camp Sunset, they will walk with staff to Ahlstrand Fieldhouse at 3:00 pm. Bussing will be made available in the case of inclement weather.
If your child is enrolled in Teen Camp, they will be bussed to Longmeadow Activity Center after Camp Sunrise. If your Teen Camper is enrolled in camp sunset, they will be bussed to Ahlstrand Fieldhouse at 3:00 pm.

Good Clean Fun!
July 7 starting at 7 pm
This summer, come out to the Hanover Park Park District and listen to music played by the band, Good Clean Fun! Bring a blanket and some chairs, and relax with your family or by yourself. Come hungry, because there will be two food trucks, Toasty Cheese and Kona Ice, where you can purchase some yummy treats to munch on!

Days Off Club
School’s out, so join us for a day of fun! Children will participate in a variety of games and activities to keep themselves engaged. Please pack your children a lunch and water bottle. An afternoon snack is provided. A morning and afternoon snack are provided. On days that all Hanover Park schools are off, we will be going on a field trip. This program is open to all children in grades K-8; enrollment in Before and After School Club is not required. Morning care is available from 6:15 am - 8 am see information listed below.

How to Register:
Registration must be completed at the Park District office or by phone-in. A parent handbook will be given out prior to the program start date. Included in the handbook is an Emergency Release Form. This form must be completed and turned in on the first day of BASC.
How to Pay:
Tuition is based on the total number of days school is actually in session per year. Fees are divided into 9 equal payments for the school year and will not be lower for those months that have fewer attendance days due to holidays (i.e. winter and spring break) A $15 non-resident fee will be charged at the time of registration when applicable.

Preschool Mission Statement
The Hanover Park Park District’s Preschool program provides a safe and nurturing learning environment to encourage the progression of socialization skills, motor skills, and emotional development while encouraging independence, self-expression, and listening skills. Our students are prepared for kindergarten through the learning areas of numbers, math, letters, writing, reading, colors, and shapes.
Preschool 2022-2023 Enrollment Information
1. Review class information. Decide upon a class that will best fit schedules and the child’s age. There is limited enrollment in these programs.

Little Learners is for children who are 3 years old as of August 30, 2022.

Pre-Kindergarten is for children who are 4 years old as of August 30, 2021.
2. Register by calling the front desk at the Community Center 630.837.2468.

Please attend Open House at the location where your child’s preschool class will take place.
Make the smart choice to get your little one ready for kindergarten! Our curriculum is based on the Illinois Early Learning Standards. Students will learn about colors, size, shapes, numbers, reading readiness as well as how to follow directions and time. All while developing social-emotional and listening skills. Teachers will explore the alphabet, addresses, phone numbers, and how to write their names. Classes are designed to prepare children who enter kindergarten in the fall of 2023. A graduation celebration will be held at the end of the school year. Parents are encouraged to help 1-2 times a month in the preschool programs. Information may change due to CDC guidelines. Graduation for all Pre-K classes will take place Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

This program is an excellent stepping stone into our Little Learners program.

Totally 2s & 3s Enrollment Procedure
Registration must be completed at the Park District office. The entire fee is due at the time of registration, as well as a copy of the child’s birth certificate. Your child must be 2 years old by September 1, 2022. Upon registration, you will be given a copy of the parent manual, emergency form, and medication form. The forms are due on the first day of class.
Parents may stay on the first day of class to help ease their child into separation. This is not a parent/tot program and parents will be asked to stop attending after the first class.
Pull-ups are acceptable, but our teachers are not able to change any child. Children should be in the process of learning how to be toilet independent while attending this program. Parents must be available to return to the program to change their child’s pull-up or in case of a bathroom accident.
