Make a splash this summer with Disney’s Finding Nemo Jr. and dive into an unforgettable theatrical adventure! Spotlight Theater Camp | Register Now

Step into the spotlight this summer! Our brand-new Theater Summer Camp is the only camp running for 7 weeks, meeting Tuesdays & Thursdays starting June 9th through August 7th. Participants will explore dance, improv, acting games, and creative movement while building confidence and teamwork skills. The program wraps up with a special end-of-summer showcase where campers perform for family and friends.

Join us as we continue to bring the arts to life in Hanover Park through the world of dance! Within our dance programs, we help our students learn about movement but also nurture a deep appreciation for the arts, all while creating friendships. Whether they are new to dance or already have a passion for dance, our classes provide a welcoming space for them to learn, express themselves, and embrace the joy of dance. Twirl, tap, and take your first steps into dance! This Ballet-Tap class is a fun and engaging introduction for ages 3–4, where little dancers explore movement through music and imagination. With a mix of graceful ballet basics and playful tap rhythms, children will build coordination, balance, and confidence in a warm, encouraging environment. It’s the perfect way to spark a love for dance while having fun every step of the way!

Intro to Ballet is the perfect first step into the world of dance for young movers. Designed for dancers with a foundation in basic ballet, this class builds on skills learned in Intro to Ballet. Students will continue developing technique, posture, and musicality through barre work, center combinations, and across-the-floor movement. With a focus on body alignment, coordination, and graceful expression, this level prepares young dancers for more structured ballet training in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Grupo Folklórico Quetzal | Register Now
Step into the world of Grupo Folklórico Quetzal and explore the vibrant tapestry of Mexican cultural heritage through the enchanting art of traditional folklore dance. Our group is passionately dedicated to igniting the spirit of Hanover Park's youth by bringing the arts to life and preserving our cherished traditions. Together, we celebrate diversity and strive to foster respect, dignity, and acceptance both locally and globally. By promoting these values, we aim to cultivate harmony among all members of our community. We invite committed individuals to join us in this journey. Attendance at rehearsals is vital as we work together as a cohesive team to bring the magic of our culture to the stage. A detailed calendar will be provided at the outset, outlining rehearsal dates and ensuring everyone is well-prepared for our performances.

Beginning Piano Lessons (Ages 6–8)
Let us help music to bloom in your home this spring with our engaging new mini-class format! Spark your child’s imagination and creativity by learning to play the piano from our professional, degree-holding instructors. Fun songs to learn in a great atmosphere will get your child playing in no time. Basic music skills such as keyboard facility, music reading, and counting will be taught using colorful, fun songs. Your child will enjoy making music from the very first class! Classes are being offered in conjunction with A & A Music Academy. Each class is designed to teach music reading skills, chords, strumming techniques, plus much more, and all with fun songs. Beginning Drum Lessons (Ages 8–14)
Drum your way into spring with our engaging lessons from a performing drummer. Our new format gets you going quickly. With a little practice, you too can be the star in the band! Bring 5A sticks or buy them on the first day of class. You’ll learn the basic rudiments, percussion style notation, drum set basics, various musical styles, plus much more. New Beginning Adult/Senior Drawing/Painting Lesson | Register Online
Always wanted to learn to draw or paint? We have the class for you. Come learn to draw in our 2-hour beginning class. Through our expert guidance, we will teach you the basics, and then you can expand your efforts into several colorful mediums. Take your photos and recreate them through this knowledge, and create your own masterpiece. Classes are available during the day for adults and seniors through A & A Music & Art Academy. We can teach anyone to draw and paint and enjoy making art for the first time, or help you get back into that fulfilling art hobby. Watercolor and clay classes are also available. Maybe you had some lessons before and want to return to your hobby. We can help and get you back to enjoying your own music-making.
