Teams will be put into divisions and play against other park districts throughout the season in this fun and recreational basketball league. Come join Hanover Park and compete for your town against our neighbors!   Players will receive instructions from volunteer coaches in dribbling, passing, and shooting, as well as learning the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. The volunteer coach determines practice times. Leagues will compete on Saturdays at the other park district's gym. Each player will receive a jersey and shorts.  ⚠️ Dates and times are subject to change based on gym availability and registration numbers Players should arrive 15 minutes before for check-in. Basketball Soccer Karate Gymnastics T-ball Tennis & Pickleball Register Online Fall Youth Soccer Leagues | Registration opens June 1st Register Online The mission of the Youth Soccer League is to develop confident, disciplined, and respectful athletes. Our recreational league provides a supportive environment to foster teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship in a safe, and inclusive space. The season will include a participation medal, and free space for an end of season party. All players will receive equal training and game time, whether they are beginners or seasoned players. Teams will use the App called TeamSnap for game and practice schedules. The season will consist of at least one (1) practice per week, and one (1) game per week. These games will typically be on Saturdays; your practice time and day will be chosen by your coach, after the registration deadline. Teams will compete against nearby park districts. The season will consist of a 7-game regular season. Players should register based on their grade level for Fall 2026; Shin guards are required. Soccer cleats are recommended. Players have the option of purchasing a jersey if they do not already have one from prior seasons. The price of a jersey is an additional $10. Jerseys must be purchased at the registration desk, and parents will be responsible for picking them up. Practice Locations: Community Center Park & Ahlstrand Park.
