Become a member Mission Statement The Hanover Park Park Foundation is dedicated to supporting the Hanover Park Park District in the development and enhancement of facilities and open space, as well as to assist in providing recreation and leisure opportunities for the residents of the Hanover Park Park District for present and future generations. PROGRAM Donate Meet the Board of Trustees Become a m ember On behalf of the Hanover Park Park Foundation, I would like to invite you to beco me a member of the Foundation. The Foundation is a volunteer group of individuals that assist the Hanover Park Park District by means of partnership and sponsorship. The Hanover Park Park Foundation encourages partnerships and sponsorships within the communit y; assists the Park District in providing lifetime enjoyment for all residents of Hanover Park; assists the Park District in finding alternative revenue sources for program supplementation; and assists the Park District in fulfilling its mission of providing quality services, programs and facilities for the residents residing in the District. Trustees meet four (4) times a year and have voting rights during these meetings. Trustees also help facilitate Foundation special events with members, volunteers, and other supporters. You are an important stakeholder in our community. The Foundation hopes that you will join us in our efforts to provide support to the Hanover Park Park District community and all of its residents. Involvement Opportunities Fill out a Membership Application to get started! Volunteer Foundation volunteers are looking to help support, develop, and enhance Hanover Park Park District parks, facilities, and programs. The Foundation offers opportunities that fit every schedule and a variety of skill sets. Whether you're looking to help out at one event, for one summer, or for a long while, the Foundation looks forward to working with you! Member Foundation Members are looking to get a bit more involved by attending Foundation meetings when they are able to. Members do not have voting rights but are encouraged to participate in discussions on how the Foundation can continue to help the community. Trustee Foundation Trustees are expected to attend quarterly Foundation meetings and have voting rights during these meetings. They also help facilitate and run Foundation special events.
