📢 Preschool Tuition Update – Effective July 1, 2025

Beginning July 1, 2025, updated tuition rates will go into effect for all Hanover Park Park District preschool programs. This change supports our continued commitment to providing a high-quality early childhood experience with caring staff, small class sizes, and an enriching curriculum.

 

We encourage families to register before July 1 to take advantage of current pricing.

Preschool Mission Statement:

Hanover Park Park District is dedicated to preparing little sprouts for Kindergarten with care and creativity! We offer a secure and nurturing environment where young learners can grow and thrive. Our programs focus on essential skills like motor development, independence-building, and listening comprehension. Kids will have a blast as they explore numbers and letters while engaging in self-expression activities that nurture their confidence. Through fun adventures in the world of colors and shapes, we help each child blossom into their best self!

 

Enrollment Information

• Review class information. Decide upon a class that fits your schedule best and your child’s age. (There is limited enrollment in these programs.)

• Little Learners is for children who are 3 years old as of September 1, 2025.

• Pre-Kindergarten is for children who are 4 years old as of September 1, 2025.

• Register in person at the Community Center.

​

What you’ll need:

• First month’s Tuition

• Child’s birth certificate

• Non-district will be charged an additional $15 at the time of registration when applicable.

• Upon completing registration you will receive:

• Parent Manual

• Information Sheet concerning billing

• Emergency information form to be completed by the parent and given to the child's teacher on the first day of school

​

• All children must be toilet independent

• Pull-ups are not acceptable for Little Learners and Pre-Kindergarten. Please refer to the Totally 2’s & 3’s regarding pull-ups.

Preschool Open House: August 27th (M/W/F class and 5 day preschool class) and August 28th (T/Th class) 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

 

No Class Dates:

There will be no class for Preschool programs on the following dates:

Preschool classes will follow the U-46 Winter and Spring Break schedules.

This program is crafted to give your little sprout a gentle introduction to the preschool world. Our devoted and nurturing staff will help ease your child’s transition from home, providing a warm and supportive environment. The class highlights socialization and learning through playful activities. Your toddler will explore music, storytime, arts and crafts, and much more, all designed to spark their curiosity and joy. This program is the perfect stepping stone for your growing sprout, preparing them beautifully for our Little Learners program.

Totally 2s & 3s Information:

Parents may stay on the first day of class to help ease their child into separation. This is not a parent/tot program and parents will be asked to stop attending after the first class.

 

Pull-ups are acceptable, but our teachers are not able to change any child. Children should be in the process of learning how to be toilet-independent while attending this program. Parents must be available to return to the program to change their child’s pull-up or in case of a bathroom accident.

Get your little sprout ready for kindergarten with our heartwarming program! Our curriculum introduces young learners to colors, sizes, shapes, numbers, and reading readiness. They’ll also pick up valuable skills like following directions and understanding time, all while blossoming socially and emotionally.

 

Our caring teachers will guide your child through the alphabet, addresses, phone numbers, and even writing their names. This nurturing program is designed for those who will start kindergarten in the fall of 2025, and we’ll celebrate their growth with a special graduation on May 21st, 2026. Parents are invited to join in the fun by helping out 1-2 times a month. Please note that if enrollment is low, we may need to combine Pre-K classes. Keep an eye out for any changes due to CDC guidelines.​

Socialization and learning through play will fill your child’s day. Students are exposed to creative art expression, rhythm activities, singing, stories, name recognition, fine motor skills, and activities related to everyday math, science, and language discovery. This class is a great opportunity for your child to get ready for Pre-Kindergarten.
