Fall Fun Fest 2026
Celebrate the season at Hanover Park’s Fall Fun Fest on Saturday, September 5 from 2–7pm at Community Park! This free community event is packed with live entertainment, family activities, great food, and plenty of fall fun.
Enjoy live music throughout the afternoon with Serendipity opening the festival, followed by Louder Now from 4:30–7pm.
Bring the whole family and enjoy free hayrides, inflatables, face painting, balloon art, crafts, games, and more throughout the festival grounds. We’ll also have an exciting Animal Show, giving families a chance to see and learn about some amazing animals up close!
Come hungry! Grab something delicious from local favorites including Issa’s, Kona Ice, Kora Koop, Country Style Donuts, Dairy Queen, and Soda Squeezed. Adults can also stop by the Beer Garden featuring fall favorites.

S’mores Night Under the Stars
Join us for our second annual S’mores Night and enjoy a cozy evening under the stars at the Hanover Park Sports Complex, 1200 Sycamore Ave, Hanover Park, IL 60133! Gather around the fire to make delicious s’mores while spending time with family and friends. We’re excited to welcome the Fox Valley Astronomical Society, who will be on-site with telescopes for an up-close look at the night sky. Learn about stars, planets, and constellations in a fun and interactive way.

Pumpkin Glow Walk
Light up the night and show off your carving creativity! Local businesses, schools, and community groups are invited to participate in our Pumpkin Glow Walk activity during this year’s Trunk or Treat celebration.
Carve a glowing masterpiece—spooky, silly, or sweet—and help us create a magical pumpkin-lit path for families to enjoy.
Please Note: Participants will provide and carve their own pumpkin.
Pumpkin Drop-Off Deadline: October 22nd.

Fright Night Frosting Fun
Get ready for a frightfully fun evening of Halloween creativity and sweet treats! The Hanover Park Park District is partnering with Country Style Donuts at 1519 IL-19, Hanover Park, IL 60133, to bring you a spooky donut-decorating experience perfect for children and families.
Participants will decorate delicious donuts using festive frosting, colorful sprinkles, candies, and Halloween-themed toppings. We will also have Halloween-themed activities and crafts. Costumes are encouraged! Space is limited, so register early to reserve your spot for this sweet and spooky Halloween celebration.

Dia de Muertos Dance
