Seafari Springs - Lifeguard ($13-$15)

The Lifeguard is responsible for performing a variety of duties to prepare the pool for the demands of the group present.


The Lifeguard is responsible for performing the duties as outlined in this analysis.  He/she works in groups of a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 10 lifeguards.  He/she is a part-time employee working form 2-35 hours a week.  Work shifts are variable with an average of 5 ½ hours a day.  They may be as long as 11 hours, but there are extended breaks within this period. 


Work is performed at a self-controlled pace but may vary depending on the demands of the job required.


The Lifeguard is required to participate in a 15-minute daily training session to demonstrate knowledge or ability to perform work activities.  This can be verbal or physical and can cover all aspects of any of the described essential functions.

Seafari Springs Aquatic Center - Pool Manager ($16-$18)

The Pool Manager responsibilities include, but not limited to: daily operations of Seafari Springs Aquatic Center, supervise and direct the lifeguard staff, assist the swim lesson, cashier, pool maintenance and concession staff when needed under the direction of the Operations/Aquatic Supervisor that includes staff training, documenting, testing, supervising, evaluating and customer service. The Pool Manager is a seasonal part-time position. 

Seafari Springs Aquatic Center – Assistant Managers ($15-$16)

The Assistant Managers' responsibilities include, but not limited to: responsible for performing a variety of duties to prepare the pool for the demands of the group present along with monitoring the activity on the pool deck as well as in the water. Enforces the rules, policies, and procedures of the Hanover Park Park District.  Assistant Managers is a seasonal part-time position. 


Building Attendant - Part-Time

Salary: $9-$10.50 DOQ

Description: We are seeking a motivated and responsible individual who will provide a high level of attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.  Responsible for weekday evenings and weekend facility operations and for the safety of our staff and patrons.  This position is responsible for opening/closing, supervising and securing the facility.  Good judgment and pleasant demeanor must be exercised while dealing with a broad variety of assignments and patrons.  


Qualifications:  Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must. Requires the ability to work in a team environment, maintain self-control and composure in difficult situations, the ability to work independently in the day-to-day operation and to work a fluctuating schedule.  Must be CPR/AED and First Aid certified or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire (through the district).  


Education:  High school diploma or equivalent

Availability: We are seeking applicants to work 2-3 days a week.  Applicants must be available Saturdays and Sundays with some availability during the weekdays’ evenings.

Custodians- Part-Time

The Hanover Park Park District is in need of custodians. Custodians are responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the Park District.  Occasionally the Custodian will be required to perform other general maintenance tasks and repairs. Contact or call 630.837.2468 ext. 128.


Centre Court Athletic Club- Front Desk

Looking to hire an energetic, enthusiastic, hard working individual to help oversee the front desk operations of our fitness and tennis club!


SCHEDULE & PAY: Must be willing to work a combination of weekday, weekend, morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours. Hours will be anywhere from 8-18 hours per week. Pay commensurate upon experience.


QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 18 years of age with a high school diploma. Highly service orientated and possess strong communication and sales skills. Bright, personable, and able to get along with staff and members. Must have good computer skills and the ability to learn and retain information


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Must know and perform all policies and procedures as outlined in the Athletic Club Policy and

Procedure Manual. Must be CPR certified within 6 months of employment.
