Garden Party
(Parent/Child Event)
Get ready for summer at our Garden Party! We’ll go on a bug hunt, plant seeds in a pot that you get to decorate, and get creative arts and crafts. After all that fun, you’ll enjoy mini sandwiches, bite size brownies, and juice with your friends.

PASSPORT TO ADVENTURE PROGRAM
The Hanover Park Park District Art Gallery is now “on the tour”, join in on the fun. The annual Passport to Adventure Program is your ticket to the many amazing and exciting activities that museums and exciting locations that provide to enrich our lives and communities. The Program is designed for children between the ages of 4 and 12 and sponsored by the Kane-DuPage Regional Museum Association.
The HPPD Art Gallery will be participating in the months of June and July, Monday-Friday from 10 am to 7 pm and Sat-Sun from 10 am to 3 pm. Come on in to the Community Center to pick up a passport booklet filled with destinations to over 50 museums, nature centers and historical sites in the western suburbs.
Fill your passport with as many stamps as you can! After visiting five sites, participants who return their passport to the location stamped on the front page of their booklet receive a certificate noting their accomplishment. Visiting seven sites earns a certificate and an additional incentive prize determined by each location. Keep your passport as a reference guide for fun places to visit throughout the year.

Midnight Madness
Have a mad time at midnight! Join us at Seafari Springs for swimming. Then our vans will take you to Ahlstrand Fieldhouse where you’ll spend hours after dark playing sports and board games, competing in relay races and eating contests with our fun summer camp staff. Don’t forget your pjs and sleeping bag. You won’t go hungry, food and juice provided.
(Camp Sunset participants will be transported to Seafari Springs by van if requested).

Rec Picnic
Come join the park district for free hot dogs, chips, and beverages. Kids will have fun playing games with staff and making crafts. Everyone will enjoy the Hanover Park School of Dance performance and other program demonstrations. Stop by the marketing booth to learn more about our upcoming programs and Centre Court.
