WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO ENROLL MY CHILD?

 

1. Review the class locations and times.  Decide upon a class that will best fit schedules and child’s age.  There is limited enrollment in these programs.

*Little Learners is for children who are 3 years old as of September 1, 2009.

*Pre-Kindergarten is for children who are 4 years old as of September 1, 2009.

 

2. Register in person at the Community Center.

*You will need the first month’s tuition.

*You will need a copy of your child’s birth certificate.

*$15 nonresident fee will be charged at the time of registration when applicable.

 

3. Upon completing registration you will receive:

*Parent Handbook.

*Information Sheet concerning billing.

*Emergency information form to be completed by parent and given to child’s teacher on the first day of school.

 

4. All children must be toilet independent

* Pull-ups are not acceptable

PRE-KINDERGARTEN

                                                                                      

Classes emphasize kindergarten preparation. These areas consist of size, color and shapes, numbers, reading and readiness, following directions, time, listening skills, and social-emotional development. Teachers will also introduce the alphabet, addresses, phone numbers, and name writing. Classes are designed for the child entering kindergarten in the fall of 2009.  A graduation celebration will be held at the end of the school year.  Class maximum: 16 students.

Classes emphasize socialization and learning through play. Students are exposed to creative art expression, singing and rhythm activities, body movement, stories, free play, name recognition, fine motor skills, and activities related to every day math, science, and language discovery.  Class maximum: 16 students.
